Since its inception in 1976, HMM Co., Ltd has continuously endeavoured to become a premier global shipping and logistics company.

HMM is currently one of the top 10 carriers in the global container shipping industry with a varied sized fleet for trades Asia-Europe, Asia-Pacific and Intra Asia.

In April 2020 HMM became a full member of “THE Alliance”. HMM’s participation in “THE Alliance” is the basis of a win-win strategy of providing higher-quality service and sales power.

HMM took delivery of twelve x 24,000 TEU vessels during 2020, all in service on the important Far East – North Europe trade and have strengthened “THE Alliance´s” service portfolio.

As well as shipping standard containers, HMM is recognised as a specials carrier, with significant knowledge in project shipments (breakbulk & flat rack/open top containers) and refrigerated cargo (reefer containers).
